I have a nice king wheelset and am thinking of switching from QR to Thru-axle. They are ISO hubs with 6bolt brakes. It uses a Shimano HG freehub. I am not sure if I need the entire drive assembly or only the axle shaft itself?
I am only looking for the axle. The wheelset was just handbuilt and is in perfect condition. I have a use for it with QR but it would be great to use on my custom gravel bike!
