just got back in from a full day in the Preseli's and the forest tracks of Rosebush, amazing views of the whole county, lovely weather though p'd off about getting a stone through the sidewall of my brand new panaracers, :x

Trouble with this time of year is the mud gets a bit sticky!!

Yep, probably around zero degrees when I went out first thing, sun shining and a trail of dust in my wake :D
believe it or not Afghanistan is probably as cold as the UK right now. :(
 
Yes, of course - takes more than a nip of frost to keep me from the trails :)
Did about 12-14 miles round local woods followed by tea n cake at the cafe;- lovely!
 
Was out early both days to get a ride in while the frost was still on the ground.

First time in months I've not had to wash the bike when I got home. :D

Yes, bit chilly and the ground was hard an bump to hard and fast inthe wooded areas.

Well when you're not on the ice.

The trails had warmed up on the short section back so it coated the bikes in mud just in time for the car.
But fun seeing which 'puddles' would crack and how far you could get them before thick sheets would hit you in the shin or foul the spokes.

Probably it's last outing for a while while it get cleaned up and the chainset makes way for a nice shiny silver RaceFace LP.
