I ask Chopper to suggest a course of action
Contact her local policing team for advice, and to make them aware of who she is, where she lives. As in every other walk of life you get decent bobbies and jobsworths - hopefully there'll be at elast 1 decent lad/lass who'll take an interest. The Government are very hot on ASB at the moment - although they haven't given the farces much in the way of tools or powers to tackle non criminal nuisance behaviour - so ehr local force should take some interest in this.

If she has a local Neighbourhood watch to make cotnact with them for advice.

If it were me I'd be inclined to pith on him from an upstairs window, but i can't really condone that as a cours eof action ;)_

Im not talking about attacking him or anything like that,i hate violence in my 12000+ posts ive never suggested anyone to do stuff like that.To know theres another guy on the scene will make him think twice especially if that guy appears like he is willing to thump him
You have suggested I go out there and meet him with a baseball bat! How is that not advocating violence?

The problem with your suggestion is this; if you go out to confront someone with a weapon you have to really mean it. If I went out there and didn't scare him off by waving a club around, I would have to try and kill him, or he could end up taking it and killing me. I'm not putting myself in that situation, and no-one else with an ounce of sense would either.

This guy MUST be stopped and if the police cant do anything till something actually happens then who will protect her?.
Horrific to contemplate but what if he gets in or meets her outside where she doesnt have the protection of windows and door :?
The police were actually pretty good about it, by all accounts. Even on Saturday night there was a car around within a couple of minutes, but he'd gone.

A dog [no offence >] sounds like just hoping it will work and if it doesnt then something else, that doesnt deter then something else. How many times do you placate this animal??
A barking dog behind a locked door is as much deterrent as you can sensibly provide. Confrontation and restraint is the job of the law.

Hello

A friend of mine had a visit from this pretty nasty sounding drunk who keeps bashing on her door and insistently asking for sex. It's not frequent, but it's happened before.

It is way past the point where the police need to be involved.

get a paintball gun

Nah i think you are right confrontation should be the absolute last thing you want.
