What cassette/freewheel do the exage hubbed wheels take please? If it's an 8/9sp & they've plenty of sidewall left I might ask you to ship them to Al's (DeadRats) with the frame, assuming he doesn't mind

course not but think they're 7 sp.

Yup 7 speed and now swapped for the wheels on my daughters bike so no longer available. (Dead rats is having the old wheels).

I don't suppose on of the spare front mechs (not the one you're VERY KINDLY supplying with the GT frame) is a 28.6mm top pull is it as I need one for another cheap build - ?

Your luck is in! The GT and bits are all wrapped and sitting in the hallway waiting for the courier to collect but I managed to slip a grubby old 28.6 top pull front mech through a hole in the box (the hole is for carrying).

All being well you should get this stuff tomorrow, I wouldn't get too excited about it though and wear some gloves when you take the stuff out! I got grubbier packing this than I do working on my bikes!!!
