The seat collar says Alpinestars too. I'll confirm when I've brought it home

Not a complete waste of time, but a slight disappointment - big crack in the head tube. I didn't realise until I got home and I'm not so churlish as to kick up a fuss over £20. Hey-ho.

It'll just have to be a piece of garage wall art.

Forks & stem are quite nice though (once I get rid of that green powder coat :?) so it was worth £20 for those alone.

Definatly a bargin but gutter about the crack (could it be repaired?)
if your up for selling them, i'd be interested in the stem & rear cantilever hanger/seat coller
