cheap 26" Tyres at banana industries

Went to get a pair of the Ritchey tyres but they’re back up to £15…
I snoozed and losed.
The prices seem to fluctuate and change pretty much daily on their website... If you're not in a rush, it's worth having a look occasionally.

I popped along today to collect some things.

Did someone mention marine salvage?

There is some seriously heavy duty lighting to be had here, if that's your thing. Also, lots of clocks.

And bikes in random places.

Naturally, there are a few custom Planet X bikes, too.

Anyway, as a bit of a Planet X fan (my 2013 Pro Carbon is still my only carbon bike, with a few upgrades), I'm glad Dave is keeping the spirit of randomness of the original alive here in Sheffield. Also, I recommended their sunglasses.

What fun, must find an excuse myself some day

If you like merino socks they’ve got some good deals at the moment. The knee high ones are great for winter riding under bib-longs!

Our long awaited nitto delivery arrives tomorrow along with a batch of honjo koken .

Have to say after almost 40 years of the bike industry nitto are far and away my favourite company to deal with .

This is a pretty big delivery with stuff not seen in the UK for many years .

Japanese quality, loyal, engineered still doing things the old (and slow) way. .

As for Honjo Koken i wrote to them many years ago asking to distribute back in the early 2000s , 3 years later I received a hand written letter in the post thanking me for my interest and saying they were now ready to accept my orders .

I can do a retrobike discount code if anyone interested .

I for one would be very much interested in an RB discount code. There are a few things from both manufacturers I’ve been after for a while.
