Cheap 16-18" single speed frame or f+f

I'm looking for a cheap frame or frame and fork.

What have you got lurking in the depths on your man cave that you don't use?

26" preferred but upon to suggestions.

Re:

I can't seem to interest anyone in this Explosif badged '97 Hahanna (18" c-t) but it would make a great cheap ss. £20 + cost of courier delivery. BB needs to be removed.

I know you want a ss specific but I have a univega 802 alloy frame , with steel fork and newish bottom bracket .I could also provide the single speed conversion kit if required for the right price and a brand new headset. I had the bike as a single speed and loved it.

Cheers Tony

Re:

Still looking Dave? Seriously thinking about moving on my NOS Curtis S1. Halfway through a build at the minute and its never been ridden. Its a small (16") in british racing green...

Cheap I guess is relative but would be looking for £150 for the frame or £170 with a black King headset? Also got some Pace RC31s for it I could do a deal with.

Yeah, am still looking Tony. That is very tempting but this is supposed to be a budget build using spares. I just know that if I bought your frame, I'd carrying on spending with parts far more suitable for it .... and then I'll be left with a load of spare parts again!

I've had a few interesting offers of older frames, thanks everyone for that. What I had in mind was something like an Inbred frame - fairly modern geometry, disc brake ready, and SS specific with horizontal/sliding dropouts or an EBB.

Kona Kaboom singlespeed frame, 18", year 2000.

I'm only selling as I have finally found a 16" (identical) one. Takes a 27.2 seatpost.

The good points: no cracking, cool glow in the dark decals, rides like a scalded cat, 21.5lbs build easily achieved.
Bad points: it's been my main ride for 3 years so no garage queen, 50-100 miles per week all year round, paintwork imperfect, some bubbling and flaking around bottle bosses.

£75 posted frame, one chain tug plus seatclamp.
