Spoon and flux are the same shell with slightly different covering and I believe the flux has slightly softer padding. Basically they are the same and I wouldn't say one is better than the other. Flux is cheaper but not by much so just get whichever one you can!!!
thank youfor all the great pics.....i have definately made my mind up now...but now youve got me thinking about the tan one and to be honest i didnt even give it a thought until now.The pics and the bikes were all stunning
If I could have got a Spoon as black as that one, I would have fitted it to 'our' Yates. The colour and its similarity to the Spoon were the reasons for buying the a Flux.
Not sure if I should move this to 98+. Anyhow I bought one from wiggle in the sale, still got some white for £14.99 > http://www.wiggle.co.uk/charge-spoon-sa ... ails-2011/ . Yet to try it but as you can see looks fairly in keeping on a retro ride if nothing else.
john that looks stunning mate....one minute i want a new saddle...the next i want a new bike....the standard of the machinery on this site is awesome.....but bl**dy addictive.....this is bike porn
if you ignore the daytrip sized saddle bag.... a 1990 clockwork
and a 1999 gringo (although not the best angle & on an unfinished project)
I wouldn't say they are a comfy saddle compared to some others out there (i really prefer my charge 'stool' in the comfort stakes) but they are a damn good price, comfy for a lightweight-ish saddle & they look good on a lot of frames.
