Sold Charge Fat Bike with extra XC mullet wheels...

Afternoon folks
A friend has asked me to sell his fat bike for him. It's a Charge aluminium frame with rigid steel fork. It's got 2x10 Sram X5 gearing and Shimano disc brakes. It's a bit tatty but in good working order.

The seat tube measures 49cm (19") centre of the bb to top and the top tube is 60cm (actual).

The bike comes with two sets of wheels: the original fat wheels shod with 4" wide Maxxis tyres and a professionally handbuilt set of 27.5"/29" mullet XC wheels.

He's after NOW £275 for the lot collected from Lewes, East Sussex or will post at cost (which we reckon will be about £40). If we're way off on price, every reasonable offer will be considered.

So, if you want a cheap fat bike and a hardtail xc bike with immense mud clearance this could be your ride.

Just to set expectations, I sold a tidier looking, more modern and higher spec Charge Cooker 27+ with front suspension and a dropper post for £280 last year. Fat bikes and even +tyre bikes are a bit of a niche and probably gone off the boil a bit in terms of popularity. Given where you are though - and with a bit of a clean up, yours could well sell for the price you are looking for if you advertise it locally.

I don't know if it's very clear from my description, but it does come with two wheelsets, the fat bike wheels and a nice lightweight mullet xc 27.5 rear/29 front built by local wheelbuilders, DCR Wheels.

It looks like it needs a bit of TLC but if it were cheap enough I could be interested in the fat bike minus the mullet wheels if your mate wanted to split?

How about £95 for the mullet wheels including very good condition bontrager tyres set up tubeless delivered? And say £200 delivered for the fat bike?
