Would you believe, I've just broken down in the last few days a Laser 400 rim off a DX rear hub that would made this a pair perfectly. Fecck.

Real shame but you could rebuild. It’s a fantastic wheel and needs a dancing partner

I don't actually want the front wheel to make up a pair, I just thought it would be too much jip to sell one rear wheel like this on it's own - however, I suspect that they would sell far more easily if it was a pair. N'est pas?

If I was to rebuild it - sell it as a pair and split it?
