Chain Slipping one gear

Ah ha, i had the very same problem, in fact i chiped a bone in my elbow due to falling off after the chain slipped going up hill.......... no stiff links, no damage to the cog teeth, rear mech working fine, ....just the 16 tooth sprocket seemed to take a real dislike to me. So, i threatened it but it did not listen, bought a new one... perfect, no probs since..... strange as !

I had this problem with a new Regina freewheel. Turned out there was a bent tooth on the affected sprocket.

Maybe a warranty issue?

thanks for all your replies. i'm gonna wheel it into the shop tomorrow as i'm having no luck, I'm thinking as they're new wheels they might look at it for me. thanks again, great forum
