Chain advice

Quick question. Does a shimano Ig (interactive glide) chain work with no glitches on a Hg cassette?
Please educate me,thanks guys

Should be fine, IG widened the cogs and created the ramp downs on the cassettes.
The naming just got dropped.

But the IG chain probably is a touch wider.

Although I wasn't really riding around that time.
Any modern chains should be fine..
