Catamount - Guide Series? Anyone seen one of these before?

I could buy this Catamount "Guide Series" for $100. I don't think it is made by the FS Catamount Cycles company (as the logo does not match) but maybe it's an early one? Anyone have any ideas? It's cantilever brakes and grip shifters so it seems to be the right era?

hi, not a lot of comments yet, maybe because this is independently of the brand just a pretty low quality bike, with obviously low entry level components like AceraX or even lower from mid 90ties. Most likely the frame is also based on a cheap tube set and heavy. I personally wouldn't recommend to buy or own such a bike other than as daily mover (for much less than 100 bucks) or because of the nice green color.

I think also that the name Catamount has nothing to do with the Catamount Mountain Bikes, here known mostly for their URT frames.
Those had also a slightly different font for the decals (with an fancy "O").

100 $ is a lot. Fifty sounds better. Cassette and chain are rusted, so it needs work as well.
