For Sale Castellano Silk Ti frameset,size small,Price drop or Swap

Hello ,This is my wifes Castellano silk Ti ,this is actually the second time I have advertised it but withdrew the Ad back in 2023 as wifey decided to keep it for a couple of trips.It is now following those trips,superfluous to requirements (read….no more room in the garage )
To sum up,this was handmade for my 5’4” wife by John Castellano and welded together by Steve Potts of WTB fame.
It has 2” inches of rear travel provided by an elastomer shock and flat plate chain stays.
It is available as a frame only, it can be run with 26” wheels or 700c wheels with gravel tyres.(see pics )

We would prefer to sell the Frame only .This cost was £2700 new,we would like £1000,or make me an offer I cannot refuse.
It is a difficult one to price up as it is a very rare beast

i still read here im just not a fan of posting here
john castellano's stuff is super cool, neat seeing his decal right alongside the ibis silk ti decal, and not an ibis head badge
id love to see the flexstay design closer to the BB to see if it has the fango's flexstays or the silk ti's more angular flexstays, it looks like its cut on both sides so i presume this is mostly ibis Silk ti and less fango oriented
my fango is a large 20" frame so its a more traditional layout, the smaller frame with that changed top tube design is super cool


the lack of v brake posts on the seatstays and instead having cable guides there is cool
that IS brake mount with the super long extension is rad
if this was my size id be down at that price, but i would never be able to fit on there
a very unique frame

for others looking at this, if that fits you then this is a very good price for a silk ti frame to begin with and if you like the super special stuff, thats a unique design entirely
also flexstays are great
