Managed a quick spin on Sunday before being dragged off to the shops! Rides really smooth, brakes a bit grabby though. New tyres and bar tape ordered today, gone for brown cloth, and have a choice of two saddles, probably go for the brown lycett after cleaning it up( thanks bruv). brown /tan straps should complete the look, along with tan hoods. Hopefully this weekend I can start cleaning! Had a nice comment from an old school friend who remembered my original one.....said it was a legend back in them days!

Pity it cant stay indoors all the time :(

It feels well built and solid without being heavy.....haven't ridden my Carrera for a month, but found I think I prefer the Carlton, a better ride :D

Anglian. Looks a good buy. Almost as when it left the factory.

My Corsair has the suicide brake levers. I've fitted new outer and inner cables and even using the extentions it seems to stop. However, I'm not convinced by their safety so looking.at some Dia Compe aero and non aero levers.

Keep us all.posted with progress reports.

Cheers for now.

Woops. I knew there was something I ment to add. Have been looking for 27 x
1/8 tyres. Found some here in the UK but not gum.walls!

Plenty in the USA but postage is another thing.
