care package from Orange!

They are very helpful over the phone too - i only ordered some decals but felt like they actually cared and were interested.

To be as big as they are and still be genuine speaks a lot for themselves.

the thing is, they know they have a following of people that genuinely love the brand and at any point those people riding their 15 year old bike an love it might suddenly say, i need a knew bike and Orange know the first brand they would consider would be Orange, they look after their customers for 2 reasons, simply being a good company and secondly looking after future sales with brand loyalty.

if i could work for them, and earn the same money i am on now i would, like a shot.

:D

Thats Great!!

I ordered decals off them, then i forgot i needed some shock hardware

I emailed them but never heard back,
Two days later the shock hardware arrive f.o.c!! :D

They are superb!!

I wish they were single, I would marry them all

Same if you go up there. I only wanted some decals + lock on's but one of the lads (Daz I think) spent a good 20/30 mins showing me the different colours available and giving advice on how to apply them. Even said if I stuffed them up he'd sort it out. 8)

This is why I'm such a fan of Orange.
They get a hard time from some on here (I know some of it is tongue in cheek), but they're based in good ol' blighty, their bikes have character and they do stuff like this.
Makes me feel all warm inside! (or that could be the Bowmore single malt?!)
(And I always thought Halifax was a dump until I went through it by train - stunning!)

Halifax does have some nice bits, countryside is really nice too. Amazingly the Piece Hall (in Brassed Off amongst other films) was nearly knocked down in the 60's (70's maybe?) for a shopping centre or something. Glad it wasn't.

When it comes to Orange bikes I know how you all feel. I've never had any Orange stuff but 'm finding myself wanting to buy one (modern one). I just found out recently the BB shells are made in Huddersfield where I am. I love the fact a lot of them are still made in Yorkshire and that makes me very interested. Reading stories like this make me realise that the back-up service and care is there too. I'd only have to drive 5 miles to go and see the guys who made my bike, and that's a big plus. Knowing they actually care about their customers long term is a real plus to me.

I just wish I could afford one!!

wow, thats the kind of things I would love to do if I had a brand of my own.
they know "who you are" and how to make you feel special to them, with this little big details. hats off.

Brill! I had those Hot Rods on my 1994 P7 I bought new, they must have been "old stock" then (as the logo didn't match the stem and bike graphics).

Nice!
