I was car-less for a year and found it a massive relief. One less thing to worry about and more cash in my pocket. Job done

the amount of cash you could save is unreal, my tax is due tomorrow for starters.....

tax £130 6 months
insurance £1000
diesel 12 months £1500+
bits and bobss like mot, services £500+

£3,000 a year easy before you add up buying and selling cars in the first place......

Got rid of mine a couple of years ago. Still miss the car (it had character) but I don't miss having a car. I cycle most places, and am much fitter for it.
