Re: Canyon Pro Titanium

I just need to get up into the loft to get the hubs and rims out to measure them. Then I can order spokes and nipples.

Re: Canyon Pro Titanium

The frame is out of the loft.
Had a slight change of plan, I have been feeling the Ritchey rims where not really the rims for this build. Then I noticed Scant selling some Nos X717's in 36h and decided that was the best way to go. I threw a few bits at it just for a look see.

Re: Canyon Pro Titanium

Looking really great!! The only thing I would change are forks; I would go for rigid Ti or carbon or even better more modern Sid with v-brake pins.

I would like a set of blue Sid world cups but I've not yet found any.
The Marzocchi's are just temporary, while I rebuild my other forks.

Re: Canyon Pro Titanium

I meant newer sids, from 2009...those are very good forks and definitely perform much better than any retro fork...

Nah its not really what I want, The Shocktechs I'm rebuilding will be fine for the job as I have quite a few tricks up my sleeve for them.

Re: Canyon Pro Titanium

Things are moving with this one, considering some of my projects can be ongoing for anything up to 10 years (that's my record so far, but that is still not finished yet)

Left to do list...
Finish the wheels
Fit the chain
Need longer rear brake hose and bleed the brake
1 gear cable
Maybe change the stem
