Cantilever question

What’s the grub screw on the side of one of the cantilever brakes for?

It alters the tension spring to move them to the left or right to centre them.

just pot luck that i went online and it was there in front of me.

It's a fine tension spring adjuster to centre them. If it's out of range, like the fcuking GS200 I arsed about with today on a neighbours bike, you have no option to use the course tension spring adjuster using the three hole settings on the canti braze on.

Call me pedantic, sad, and should be in a straight jacket as you feel fit.
