Can't get excited about seatposts

As long as they put the saddle in the right place and keep it there, that'll do. Would not spend silly money on one for any bike.

Adjustability is over-rated! ;-)

Hi all, based on some of the above I gotta ask, are setback seatposts allowed on retro rides then?

Was thinking of getting one for my P7 but don't want to offend anyone!! Just to clarify its a functional rather than fashionable reason as I can't set the saddle far enough back to have my legs in the correct position!!

Cheers,

Al

its a work of art and the simple single bolt to adjust is a dream. i still think its a bit overpriced but all mooots stuff i have bought is crazy money.

What's in the fish tank??

Seriously retro (pre-1990) almost compulsory I think. Later, whatever floats your boat.

Personally I think those layback Thomsons just look pre-crashed

All the best,

As long as it fits the frame and the saddle bolts to it I am happy.
