Can't get excited about seatposts

:D Lovely. Has she a name?
Here is the only pictures of one of mine. She went for the cat earlier in the day. The cat stayed out all day.

Notice the hairs missing on her back. She was forever trying to blind me by flicking them at me  Also loved to show her fangs to me. Perhaps she thought i was a dentist

Mines called marylin

Tarantulas are so interesting. Perhaps better than mtb's?

Didn't have a name for mine. Perhaps she should have been called 'killer' As she did kill every thing that came near.

are setback seatposts allowed on retro rides then?
Seriously retro (pre-1990) almost compulsory I think. Later, whatever floats your boat.

Personally I think those layback Thomsons just look pre-crashed

All the best,

Ha ha, yeah I'm in 2 minds with the Thomsons tbh although I appreciate the engineering thats gone into them. I prefer a seat where the layback/offset is kind of hidden in the clamp like most others, they look better.

Getting a silver/chrome one I reckon so choices are limited by my 26.8mm seatpost size, so Thomsons are out anyway!

P.s. Loving the Tarantula stuff btw.. always wanted one but my missus would divorce me if she came home and saw one!!

I got excited about this one when I won it the other day.

Now I just need to find an Ibis Mojo or Indy Fab frame to go with it.

Ah, so you nabbed that one--good score. I have a couple frames that would love to wear that boring old post, if your quest for a 29.4mm hole goes awry!

 Sorry for the thread hijack....but them again my spider is retro....had it since 1993 and still going strong!

Dear Lord  Never knew they lived that long.

But why are you telling us this now? Is it his birthday :?

'He' is a girl spider. Males live for about 2 years then die whether mated or not.
Females can live for 20 years plus. The key is not to over feed them. It's like over watering a plant.

But like all intelligent animals they need stimulation.
