Cannondale Volvo

Hi, Can anyone tell me exactly what this bike is? I think it is from 2000/2001, the frame is marked CAAD3 and it has smooth welds. It has Magura hydraulic discs, mavic rims and weighs 11.8 kilos. Any idea of its worth as I need to sell/exchange as it is too big for me

I'd guess the vintage is about 1999/2000 but woudlnt be best placed to answer. Someone else might well know.

My guess is that it's a 1999.

The blue and yellow colourscheme could be a little tribute to the fact that the world Championship took place in åre, Sweden that year..
All cannondales in the Championship had that combination.

Well, it could be seen as an homage to Volvo as well, beeing a swedish car, as they were partners in 98 to, but the team bikes were red or red fading to orange that year.

In 2001 they were the same blue with yellow logos but front end fading in black.

I used to own Cedric Gracias team dh Bike from 99,the fulcrum II, in that fancy combination, wish i never sold it.

Edit: looking closer at the picture i notice it's lacking the white Volvo logo, so perhaps more likely 2000..
