Cannondale Super Raven - new shock or Rush

Some advice or comments please. This is my Cannondale;

The rear shock is the original and not the best though it has been recently serviced. I am deciding whether to spend ~ £280 on a Risse Astro 5 which has a near lock mech or take the hit, sell the bike and buy a Cannondale Rush.

I just fancy the single swing arm hence the Rush.

I know they are not like for like and there are years in difference between the two, but any thoughs?

whats the length of the shock. I've got a barely used fox shox with lockout for half of what the risse would cost.

fox vanilla r possibly
replace shock first

It is 140mm Fox Float R. But one side is a clevis fit.

If the Ravens travel is enough for you, id stick with it. Its very cool bike. Original construction etc.. In terms of performance both bikes are simple single pivot suspension, so despite different position of the pivot, i dont think they are that much different..
