I am offering for sale my 1991 Cannondale SM2000, 18". It has a lot of original componentry, but also some more recent additions.
Unchanged from original are:
Thumbshifters
Front mech
Rear mech
Frame (inc Paint, in fair condition)
Fork (inc Paint, in fair condition)
Handlebars
Chainset (possibly - I bought it secondhand with a Campagnolo ATB triple on, this is still fitted.)
Ritchey Brake levers
Ritchey Seat post
Newer parts are:
Canti's (but not too different from originals. I ran early XT V's on it for a while and foolishly misplaced the original Canti's);
Wheels - the original rims were goosed, so it now wears Acera X hubs and mismatched Mavic rims. Period tyres and Flite saddle, Yeti grips, chunky bar-ends. The Headset is a Stronglight A9 taper roller. It has a Ritchey style stem. Oh, and a 7 speed road cassette, 13-23 ish, and some early early SPD's....
Unfortunately the rear dropouts have opened up, so it won't hold a QR wheel securely, it runs fine with the current bolt up hub though.
There is also a USA shop decal on the seattube, presumably the original vendor?
Pictures available, PM me, and/or I'll post some when I can. Good source of serviceable parts if nowt else. £200? not really sure what it's worth TBH... It just needs a good home.
Hopefully now I've added some pictures... Tyres are (FR) ritchey mega bite 3, (RR) Tioga Farmer John. Brakes are M502's, spd's are PD525's. Rims are Mavic 117 sup rear, 238 Silver front.
