cannondale project... killer v early sm model etc

okay so ive sold all my retro bits :cry:

now i can start the fun again.... im looking for a cannondale project that i can polish up... about a 17"/18" frame i reakon.... ideally im looking for a full bike in a run down condition thats going cheap (ish)

i like the early sm models.... id really like a killer v

It has been mine since new got it as a replacement from Cannondale,
Used over the past 10 years by my partner, some scratches, cable rub, small ding on the top tube.
STX mainly, 21 speed, force 40 brakes.
Complete and regularly ridden but needs a bit of polish.

err excuse me old scool girlie .... i dont know how you do things where you are from.... but here on retrobike i think its polite to either start your own thread or at least apologise for hi-jacking my wanted thread !!!

I'll apologise for posting, as long as you PROMISE when you say 'polish' you don't mean 'remove colour and make silver'?

To do that to a diamond black metallic with violet pearl hyper highlight is actually illegal.

Thought you might remember it! (Mike had a cannondale same age, but regular shape, same colour on that ride. I was tempted to have a matching pair!)

It says Killer V3000 on it, never seen another in a catalogue with 3000 on?
It was a replacement from Cannondale for a frame that cracked.
I've had it since new in 2005 I think. 17 1/2" as I recall.
