1992 or 1993 CANNONDALE M800 Beast of the East.
Frame only for sale

Built up this 1992/3 Cannondale M800 about a year ago and have barely ridden it - it's far too good to get dirty!

So, I've decided to split it and to sell the frame. Some of the components will become available at a later date when I've decided what to keep and what to sell.

Frame has been re-enamelled in a beautiful pearlescent white by Bob Jackson and is little short of immaculate. There is some minor cable rub and I seem to recall that there's some chainsuck on the chainstay hidden beneath the stay protector. But overall, it's a frame you'd be proud to show off.

Size is Large. It fits me and I'm just under 6ft. The sizing of the M800 is a bit weird because the very high bottom bracket dictates a longer than usual head tube. Seat tube is 16.5in c-c, 18in c-t. Top tube is 22in. It takes a 27.2 seatpin, and forks with 1 1/4in steerer (or 1 1/8 with an adaptor). It is currently set up with GT Cromo forks.

Price: £120 for the frame on its own (without forks, bottom bracket or headset). Could post for £15 extra. PRICE DROP - NOW £100 COLLECTED.

May consider a trade with a Caad 2 or Caad 3 frame/bike with headshok forks.

CANNONDALE m800 beast of the east

Hi

I know this is an old post but the bike isn't still available is it as i would be very interested.

If not would you know anywhere i could get one

The M800 was my first serious Mountain bike and i would love to get hold of one again :)

regards
Matt

Strangely enough, I do still have the bike and all the bits and I still hardly ever use it. Got too many bikes, so some rarely get used.

Just too bone idle to advertise it again.
