Size 18inch frame as per Cannondale sizing)
Early 1990s
21 speed
Shimano mix xt/lx groupset,sugino cranks,middleburn chain wheels.
Wheel mavics have lx hubs
Blue.
Unusual front suspension labelled Cannondale.seized at present.

From what can see it in fairly good order,gears work ,brakes work ok
I've had some comments to say it's a m800.
Some age related marks.

It is possible this is an 18" M800 frame, it's not a 16" as they never did a 16" M800. Your measurement of the seat tube may be 16"! Can you measure the Bottom Bracket height from the ground up with the tyres on? (Observing your last picture in your first message, I would tend to sway on this being an 18" M800) - get back with the BB measurement from ground up?

Hi as I understand it I've measured from the ground up to the centre if the bottom bracket?Also the hybrid tyres have lower profile wall so I estimate 1/2to 3/4 inch to add.
If I'm doing it right ground to centre 13 inch estimate.taking the normal M.b bigger tyres As it is with the hybrid tyres to ground to centre about 12inch approx but this isn't with mountain bike.
If it's not ground to centre then it's about 11.5in to the base of casing but still have to add mountain bike tyre difference in profile so about 12.5inch with m.b tyres to the base of casing.

Am a bit confused by your measurement's - however reading between the lines I think its an 18" M800 frame from 1992/93 with the threaded 1 1/4" fork. (those aftermarket suspension forks will alter the measurements and geometry of the bike)

Last comment from me, I have taken you picture, hope you don't mind. Maybe someone else can make judgment, however for me if you note the "chain-stay" in the horizontal position below in the image, this is very unlike other M 3.0 series Cannondale frames from around in the era. Am sure it's an M800 (again I could be wrong)
