Thanks, it has been an interesting introduction to vintage mtb scene to build this bike. Yes she will be ridden few times in a year. I want the bike to last in this shape, and have other fun 'dales for more regular riding.

Still some very fine details put the right way. Managed to find the original RooX seatpost, with no reinforcement at the top hole area. Of course weaker than the improved version, but that's what I had back then. Also found yellow ptfe coated brake cables. I don't remember if the bike had those when it was stolen, but at some stage it had. A nice yellow detail. So, what differentiates from a full copy:
- yellow brake cable doughnuts
- gold wire end nipples
- black aluminum crank bolt caps.
They are the finishing touches I wanted to give this "new" bike.

Thanks for compliments and appreciation! However, this bike is on the last position for my bike sales list. I think I might take it to my grave

OH MY... this happens when the old memory fails. Just found some old photos taken about three months before the bike was stolen. I did remember the wheelset the wrong way. The bike was originally equipped with STX RC / Wolber wheelset. But when worn I replaced them with Sachs Quarz and Mavic 217 SUP wheelset. So the quest for the Wolber rims was futile. It seems I'm back to the building phase.

After a short search I was able to get two Mavic 217 SUPs and decal set. Went to my wheel builder and the wheelset is ready (again) This seems to be more like a process than a project…

So, the spring update to this process, that has already taken a bit more than three years. Got the wheelset redone with the right rims. At the same time at last figured out what bottle cage the original bike had. It was the Elite with the logo "engraved" inside the top bar. So found it, and the right Zefal water bottle also. Still one thing to do, the Piranhapro tires are not exactly the right ones. They should be the Twin Compound "TC" models. So if anyone has a pair to sell/swap...
