Bought this bike the other day. I would like to change the current fork Rock Shox Indy C with something rigid. I don't know, what is the max alowed axle to crown height for this frame, so I would like to know your opinion.
Current axle to crown height is slightly more than 42cm (16,5inch) with full extension. When on bike 0,5 cm less. I would not go for less, as is now, rather for more. One local manufacturer is offering new aluminium v brake compatible forks with axle to crown 46mm (18,1inch). Anyone tried such long fork on this frame?
I will not be using it for hard downhill or jumping. Just for slow riding on the fireroads.
