Cannondale lefty things to look out for??

Thank you for the replies, if it's the case water had got in, is that game over without spending big money on servicing? I'm going to call a few service places this morning.

Bullpup, it was taken off eBay Monday night then listed with the new buyer on Tuesday on gumtree, apparently he also won a kona coiler and doesn't need both bikes so the dale is going.

Yeah, thank you for that, I'm still in two minds on what to do he wants £200 for the bike and if the fork can't be fixed I don't want to waste the money.

I thought the sale ended early so I had assumed someone had done an off ebay deal. I do wonder if they subsequently found the repairs were a lot more than anticipated. However I would have bottomed that out before I bought it.

Yeah, that's what I wondered. Well I've just called tf tuned and 06 is a funny year and they can't service them due to the tooling changing and them not having the correct ones. The guy said it would cost £165 though to do a full service. Hmmm

My thoughts were along the lines that a good Rush is around £400 on ebay less forks and brake service and transport.

In the worst case change the fork.

Changing the fork isn't straight forward though, dale headsets are slightly different to stsndard 1.5 inch. I'm kind of off the idea to be honest.

I didn't know that - saved from myself. I would try a couple of specialists then try him with a hard offer.

I called them guys and they said the same as TF, both advised me to leave it alone. They were going to charge £185 and its half a day to service!
