Couldn’t resist myself when I was offered these Kookas and Mrazek brakes at reasonable price. As the Killer is my fantasy build, they will end here when I have time for the installing work.
Spring update:
- Tune SpeedNeedle seat
- Kooka Racha levers
- Grips Shift SRT-800 shifters
- Mrazek MOC brakes
The build is starting to behave like a featherweight no-shimano bike. Weighed the bike, 9,7 kg (with PD-M747). Not bad with the extra bulks of Killer V frame and F-519 rear rim. Now all shimano parts are the front and rear derailleurs. Now if someone would offer me cheap Proshift or Paul derailleurs, preferably in blue
looks beautiful with the polishing and magic cranks. Even the Mach 5 looks good on it. (I just destroyed a bolt on that same syncros seatpost last night — looks like the early 90s gen 2? Couldn’t get the clamp to stop creaking and apparently overtightened it — snap.)
