Cannondale help needed

Hi all, we have a new Cannondale F2000 project which we’re struggling to work out.

The serial number etc shows it as being a 12/95 (GD) number 1504 built at fab shop 126658 with a frame number of 5FL5W17.

Now I’ve checked both the 1995 and 1996 catalogue and it’s not listed. The 95 catalogue lists upto an F1000 whilst the 1996 catalogue lists an F1000 and a F3000. This as shown is decalled as an F2000 World Championship issue???

If I were assuming you are checking UK catalogues, could this be a non-UK spec model. I'm sure cannondale were prone to mid-year spec changes in their time. Models with Suntour when catalogue stated Shimano &new paint schemes appearing early. (Quite a few of my buddies had Dales bitd)

Yes uk. I'll check the Vintage site.

They list an F2000 but not till 1997 catalogue and the frame is V brake specific unlike this one.

It appears a 1995 F2000 was built to celebrate the wins of Alison Sydor and Tinker Juarez in 1994 hence not in any catalogues.
