Cannondale Fork Choice?

Hi,
I have a Cannondale M1000 frame and have been offered a Cannondale Fatty R rigid fork, the dropout to headstock length is 400mm, does anyone know if this combo will work well. The forks are 1" 1/8th which is fine as that is the headset I am running anyway.
I would appreciate any info on the Fatty R's.

M1000 used to come with peperoni or P-Bone forks. Fatty R was basically a successor of Peperoni. Geometrywise, all three are basically the same.
Dont worry. It will work and look great!

Well its seems I missed out on the Fatty R's...so back to looking for forks again...just wondering if I should bung some suspension forks on until I find the rigids I want...any ideas of which length/travel would ride ok ?

Dont know how orthodox you want to be with your build, but there is quite a lot of trials forks that look very similar to fatty..
especially ECHO URBAN one

Many thanks for the info and the link, I am not too worried about it being an orthodox build, so somethink like the Echo's may well fit the bill.
