My commute bike is f600 with disc brakes. Headshok is ideal for the road and pootling offroad on the scenic route from work.

You can get replacement dampers as well as being able to service them. To remove the damper needs special too, search my posts for how to make one.

The new fork boots are smaller and are a right sod to stretch them over the forks but it can be done with a lot of tugging and swearing.

Headset bearings are some weird non metric size but not to hard to source.
