The steerer should tell you all you need to know - if it's one inch, probably pre 1998, I have a CAAD5 but it's 2003 with 1/8th steerer.

It's a 1/18th aluminium steerer with carbon forks

The frame as it is actually a 54cm frame when measureed as per the geometry on the cannondale website.
