Cannock Chase wire traps

Re:

I'm saying its bullshit. It's a hoax.
I live 1/4 of a mile from the chase. If there really were these garotte wires found then it would be massive news locally for obvious reasons.

It's typical internet hoax bullshit designed to provoke outrage.

Hmm, some thread bare has been stringing us along with some old rope then. It's a frayed knot now.

From what I can gather that particular photo is from the Chase, but a couple of years old and just got re-shared recently. There have been reports of similar wires and other traps elsewhere recently though.

Either way, some great rants there, all well supported and thoughtful too - not just ranting for the sake of it!

I'd agree that the truth is we're all utterly fed up and sick to death over a thousand injustices and incompetences that we're powerless to fight, so this anger finds any outlet it can, diverted by tainted media/politicians into divisive and unfounded hatred of each other, in order to keep it from being turned on them where it belongs. In the process, keeping us too busy to do anything whilst they cream off all the money.

Did I mention angry...?

Re:

The number of the beast speaketh elPedro ;) Glad this has been outed but as the poster said above, this potentially lethal activity IS on the rise. Many of us take our kids riding in the woods etc...this kind of thing just makes me feel sick and fing angry. I love dogs too but there are some fuxxing @$$hole owners out there who let their aggressive dogs run amock on bridleways, as well as cr@p all over kids dedicated grass play areas without picking up....but do I go setting Dog traps ? No btw
