Original owner, recently overhauled.

Wanted to share pictures with people who can appreciate a quality old school mountain bike.

friggin' sweet! Those XT cranks are fantastic. This is a rider, not a trophy.

Got me on the crank....not period appropriate.

Tried to do overhaul keeping old crank and 7-speed top mount thumb shifters but was having difficult time finding chain rings to match bolt spacing and for a little more money decided to just go all new.

The new stuff works great but does muddy old school theme.

The frame is 21" I believe...Cannondale was using a small, medium and large designation then instead of inches though.

Bike does ride great, perfect for upstate New York, USA.

Have to say I think the cranks really suit it - it's one of those frames that always just looks right to my eyes
