LH didnt have the groupset name on it but was a plastic top with a coin slot to take it apart.

Thanks for the closeup. There is a local charity bikeshop near me that has a big tray of shifters, so I now know what I'm looking for, but not many bike manufacturers used thumbies for lower end bikes so it might be quite a rare item.
