Can I get an "Amen?"

Re:

Okay, you can all stop now. The "Amens" carried the day.

Now that I have a page on FB where I am expected to show up and contribute, I have to generate interesting content for the next few months, without, as my publisher points out, giving away the store by leaking the finished product one sentence at a time.

I'm pretty sure I can entertain the troops with my second tier material. As soon as they toss me the keys, I'm firing it up to see what she'll do.

As soon as I opened my FB account, I kept getting "friend" requests from some guy I didn't know. He was REALLY persistent, and he seemed to be "friends" with a lot of people I know. So I asked one of them, hey who is this guy? Where am I supposed to know him from?

It was Gary Fisher, hiding behind a screen name.

My publisher Velopress, of whom I cannot possibly speak highly enough, has purchased for me the use of a PAGE at the Black Hole of privacy known as Facebook.

But there is a catch. Of course there is a catch. They require me to know 25 different people who will acknowledge my acquaintance by "liking" the page. As you can see by my post here, there are not yet enough in the United States to reach my quota, so I am calling out internationally for fellow FB denizens to give me an electronic stamp of approval.

You may do that here.

You need to come off that facefeck stuff, why don't you try mountain biking instead, plenty of fresh air, you get to meet like minded people face to face and it may even improve your fitness old timer.
