Can anyone recommend…

Hello everybody

Can anyone recommend a new fork that is/has:

- 1.18
- 250mm steerer
- Brake bosses
- Black (ideally)
- Non-tapered

Ideally decent quality?

Is the bogo RockShox usable?

It’s to go on a sort of all purpose touringish MTB?

Any suggestions welcome or let me know if you have something to sell…

does it need to be a sus fork?
if not - Salsa Cromoto (suspension corrected) they come with long steerers and i 'think' v brake version...?
otherwise you can pick up a decent set of Marzocchi bomber MX comps for the same price as those RSTs plus they are easily serviceable/low maintenance.
lock out is good though, but with air forks - just pump them up a bit more to firm them up - if it gets rough, caps off and let some air out

Cheers dude, I’d definitely rather find a better quality retro pair but everything I’ve found so far has had it’s steerer cut!

I think the chances of getting a 250mm steerer is slim so I’m looking at low end new as nothing decent will have brake bosses.

It’s a shame because the rest of the bike is XT, Thomson, Syncros and Chis King.

Pace was my first choice but that seems very unlikely now…

Hard photograph one handed but the total stack is almost exactly 250mm

Just realised they have a 125mm steerer :/
