Can anyone Identify this QuesT MTB think its bout 1997

Please folks can anyone ID this frame I think its 1997 from the serial number and came with Maitou Spyder around that time, wheels where 5 spoked Grimecas in orange and everything was Shimano XT, beer for identifier!!

theres a yellow Quest logo running doen the main tube and another red on the head, the frame is stamped Alfton 7005

Quest are/were a bike ship in Harrow - generally they do road stuff nowadays.

Frame looks similar to Claud Butler badged frames of the 90's. The canti hanger would suggest mid 90's as a Aluminium frame of the late 90's would probably have those new fangled V-Brakes
So if its a Quest it'd be a case of the shop badging up something from someplace else to jump on the mtb bandwaggon.

to both you guys, can't believe I didn't find this, maybe not as good at internet research as I thought! you are both actually incredible as I never spotted that there was a cantilever hanger + vrakes so they have been added later! and secondly that bike shop is only a 5 min ride from me so will go down there tomorrow, ....BRILLIANT
