Can anyone identify this frame?

It's just the lugwork/ fork crown that is the same as there was only so much parts for frame builders to chose from.

Unlikely to be columbus max but there was Cromor OR and Max OR available in the late 80's so who knows

The rear end is familiar, there will be one on RB somewhere

I've seen a GT with a rear end similar to that, but not a lot else.

My Shogun Prarie Breaker has a very GT situation going on, but this thing...it's more Iron Horse.

Ok...I now have the bike in my posession, and the only sticker on the frame is this. Does anyone have any idea what this brand of tubing or possibly even bike brand?

Does that decal have remnants of the word modolo?

Definately a Modolo decal, might be worth sending them an email.

Ahh yes, it's Modolo for sure. It looked familiar, but I couldn't for the life of me recall. Thanks for the good pick up guys! I've just had a bit of a google image search, and come up with zip/zero/zilch as far as anything even close to this frame. Modolo only manufacture components as far as I'm aware, but I reckon I'll send them an email anyway. Someone may have just stuck the sticker on there many moons ago...
