Thinking ahead for an upcoming build, I’m interested in using Campagnolo components.

Never used them before, and whilst I’ve had a quick look at the Campag brochures available on here, I can’t really understand the hierarchy of the group sets - they all look pretty similar  so I don’t know what I should be looking for.

So for 1990 era components, can anyone put their group sets in order for me, from low end to high end? Assuming it works like that?

Thanks for the links :)
It seems that in 1990 there were only 2 MTB groups, Euclid and Centaur, and the Euclid out ranks Centaur.

I’ve got quite a bit, some NOS, which I’m ready to part with - let me know if/when you’re interested. Here’s a taster.

Euclid was definitely the best one in 1990, Centaur second. Still not sure, if there was Olympus and Themis at that time - I think so, but they would be lower level.
Well anyway, now just to be able to identify the mostly unmarked parts .)
