Any idea what they are then? Not Athenas. Always known these as Chorus...

Mono-planer (I spelt it wrong first time!) brakes have one arm going through the other - these have the traditional one in front of the other.

I thought that they were Athena, as seen here - http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/d/1 ... atalog.pdf - but if you say they aren't, then I don't know. Someone with more knowledge than me will probably know.

No, Athena are slimmer on the calliper arms with a smoother transition. These are definitely Chorus but yes, not the monoplaner ones. I have some Graphite ones as well. Athena are actually sleeker which is weird.

They look, a lot, like these Athena D500s, to me? Even down to the white rubber rings on the cable adjusters, image 3 onwards...

Yeah, they probably are. Found my chorus ones and there's more of a right angle on the calliper :facepalm:
