Campagnolo 8 speed ergo 'ratchet covers'

I recently bought a lovely set of 8 speed ergo levers which I believe to be Chorus.

I suspect that they have been serviced at some point and the covers that go over the rachets at the rear of each lever have become lost. The part I am referring to is the one that slides into two locaing grooves that are just below the level of the band that attaches the levers to the bars.

I can't see anything similar online as a spare so I am hoping that someone may have some here, have a defunct set of levers, or know where I can get some.

I have already dropped Nigel at Campyoldy a note.

The ones with metal bodies do not have the plastic insert only the Carbon ones.
Mercian, Sidcup cycles or JD Whiskers spring to mind or the Velotech-cycling

Thanks for the feedback. My levers have 'carbon' written on them on a panel at the front which is above the lever itself. I would love to believe that my ones don't need the cover but I suspect that they do - there is alsoa tab on the rubber hoods that would locate into the missing part.
