Campag Rally alternative

My almost unridden 1982 Mercian is fitted with TA, Suntour and a Campag Rally rear derailleur.

A mate wants to buy the Campag for a restoration he's doing and has offered to find a replacement. I'm not fussed about which make of derailleur I have, so what would you recommend as an alternative?

I have a Rally on a bicycle and a very good gear it is. However Suntour is a very good alternative - I have one or two of these (little used).

Here they are -

Image shows Suntour VX and Cyclone rear gears together (VX in foreground), both essentially the same, VX being the earlier (I think), VX rebranded Cyclone.

Altogether well regarded touring gears from a manufacturer that is often overlooked by Retrobikers.
