Has it Aluminium or steel cups and top race/lock nut then? Put a magnet to them, or weigh them-look like steel to me.
If you look at the CDA spec, it confirms it was Aluminium. I can remember CDA became the "must have" group, due to the weight saving on Record and SR and also the sexy looking (but very inefficient) Delta brakes. Campag' dropped the group, as it ate into Record sales too much. Still very desirable.

Late reply sorry as ive been abroad, just removed it, steel races in the frame, ally cups and top lock nut races are VGC, missing top lock washer ?

Has it the drilled holes in the top race cup? The cups should be aluminium with ball race channels only in steel?

No holes, steel fork crown race and upper frame race, all others are alloy
