Campag Croc Daune Headset (British)

The CdA had a different part code to the Record certainly. I don't know how to tell the difference, if there is one...

DA used a Chorus Headset & Seat Post as part of the groupset.

Is it possible to distinguish between the heasets visually? The Athena on Velobase appears to be stamped Brev.-Int.-Campagnolo like this one. The Chorus is stamped Campagnolo - Brev - Int.
Is that difference in marking meaningful?

CDA, Chorus & Athena parts from the campag spares list. Any help??

Re:

I though CDA was same pattern but Aluminium instead of chromed steel? Used to ride with a lad who had full CDA, (bought as a boxed group,) on his bike BITD and I feel sure headset was this pattern, but Aluminium cups and top nuts.
Seem to remember also, although CDA wasn't "top" of the range back then, one of it's selling points was a saving in weight?
I have a CDA mech and the same years Record and Super Record mech's are quite a bit heavier. I'm maybe wrong, but vaguely remember this was the big selling point.

So Chorus and CdA are the same C0D0 headset. Athena is a lesser D0D0

The pictures aren't really detailed enough to tell the difference but I think the clue is possibly in the way the Brev, Int and Campagnolo are stamped unless that was just dependent on the tooling they had set up on the day...

I think the clue might be in the actual individual items part numbers?
If they have different Numbers then they are in some way slightly different. Obvious I know, but but thats the best way I can explain it.
