campag chorus pedals

Re:

I have looked on ebay and there are a whole range of prices at £70, 87, and £123 for used and new pedals.

If someone wanted these for a retro build are they worth £75?

Hope someone can help...

If the pedals are in good condition - spindles true, bearings smooth, no major scuffs, threads undamaged etc. etc. - and they come with toe clips (in more or less mint condition), I think that £65 is a likely price on a forum like Retrobike (as a Paypal gift to you, i.e. no fees for you). On Ebay, prices are always 5 - 10% higher, as sellers have to pay fees (commission) to Ebay and Paypal based on the sales/selling price. Campagnolo, Binda or Silva leather straps will add to the price but depends very much on how the straps look - miscoloured, frayed or with rusty buckles won't help a lot and straps would probably just have to be "thrown in".

I replaced my Chorus pedals and clips about 18 months ago - found replacements on Ebay from Germany and paid €85 (about £64)for them without straps (excl. shipping).

Hope this helps a little
