Hi everyone, just signed up to the forum to get some more info on Orange Bikes and to share my story of how my Orange and I first met and our journey together


Got a job at Re-Bike in Carlisle which is a project that helps train people in the art of Bicycle maintenance where we get bikes donated of all different types and states, anyway this orange bike was going to be scraped but made its way to us through Shanks Waste Management so I bought it off the boss for £65

Needed very little work done, 7 speed cassette n chain, lots of WD in the right shifter to get it to catch, cables, road tires, found some Vuelta Rims, grips and a ruddy good clean, just replaced wheel bearings n cones.

anyway here it is now, going to be fitting front and rear brackets-panniers, saddle bags, big ass gel seat, butterfly bars and go traveling-camping soon so I'll be posting more pictures soon
